November 19: The International Academy presents Partners in International Education (PIE) at Automation Alley Headquarters (2675 Bellingham, Troy, MI 48083) from 4:00 to 6:00 pm. Come to a wine and cheese reception and learn how the business and educational communities can develop a mutually beneficial partnership.
October 27, 2007: The International Academy is hosting the third annual IB Orientation Seminar for all educators interested in learning how to initiate an IB program in their schools. This day long event features speakers from the IBNA, and breakout sessions for each of the three curricula offered by the IB: Primary Years Program (PYP), Middle Years Program (MYP) and Diploma Program (DP). Registration begins at 8:30 am.
October 19, 2007: The first International Discussion Group meeting of the year will focus on the adjustments of international students to the rigors of the IA curriculum. Modification policies, attendance, cultural issues will be discussed. Meet in Conference Room B at the International Academy at 10:00 am.

August 30, 2007: The International Student Luncheon, sponsored by the International Center will be held over both lunch periods to welcome our new international students.
School Year, 2007-2008: WorldPath Heritage Language classes are offering programs in Beginning Mandarin Chinese, Beginning Arabic, Intermediate Russian, German Literature for Native Speakers, and French Literature for Native Speakers (three levels). Call for information (248) 341-5941.
